Senator Ewuga formally rejoins APC, meets party officials

Senator Solomon Akku Ewuga, a prominent political figure in Nasarawa State, has officially rejoined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) after leaving the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Ewuga, who represented Nasarawa North in the 7th Nigerian Senate, disclosed this decision during a meeting with APC officials in his Alushi-Ginda Ward on January 3, 2024.

The meeting, held in Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area, drew the attendance of key APC officials from Ewuga’s local government.

Having previously served as Deputy Governor of the state and Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Senator Ewuga possesses a substantial political history.

He played a pivotal role as one of the founding members of the now-defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), which later merged with other political parties to establish the APC in 2013.
