Emeka Ike inspired me- Says actor Yul Edochie
Yul Edochie, a Nollywood actor known for his controversial roles, has opened up about his admiration for Emeka Ike, a veteran of the industry. He expressed his joy at seeing Emeka Ike return to the big screen with Toyin Abraham’s ‘Malaika.’
Edochie also advised Emeka Ike to stay strong amid the marital crisis that has been plaguing him and his former wife.
He told the legendary actor that he had more supporters than detractors, and that he should not pay attention to the negative comments.
In an Instagram post, Edochie wrote: “Welcome back to the game, big bro. The Legendary Emeka Ike. @emekaikeofficial Odogwu!
“You’re one of the reasons I joined this profession. I’m a huge fan of your work. We love you bro. Believe me, the people who love you are more than your haters. But the haters always make more noise. Ignore the noise.
“Don’t let anyone bring you down. Keep your head up, Boss. Life will constantly try to put you down. No gree.”
He also appealed to Ike to make peace with his family, saying that those who were spreading the news did not have happy homes either.
