US officials stated Sunday that preliminary findings suggest wintry weather played a role in the helicopter crash that claimed the life of Access Holdings CEO Herbert Wigwe. Wigwe, along with his wife and son, was aboard the helicopter when it went down near the California-Nevada border on Friday.
Also onboard was former Nigerian Exchange Group PLC chairperson Abimbola Ogunbanjo. National Transportation Safety Board member Michael Graham reported during a media briefing Saturday that investigators were collecting perishable evidence at the crash site.
