Great Scholarship

The British Government Great Scholarships represent a collaborative initiative between the UK government and the British Council, available at esteemed universities across the country. This fully-funded scholarship program is designed for postgraduate and Master’s degree students, offering a significant financial reward of up to £10,000 for a one-year duration to cover tuition fees.

Eligibility for the Great Scholarships extends to students from 18 different countries. Additionally, those pursuing studies in Law and Justice can also apply for these scholarships. Applicants are required to adhere to the language criteria specified by their chosen university and submit their applications within the stipulated deadline, accompanied by an acceptance letter and a Bachelor’s degree.

Beyond the financial support, scholarship recipients will have the opportunity to participate in a welcome event during the first semester and a networking event in the second semester. Preference will be given to applicants with relevant work experience in their selected field.

Eligibility:

  2. Hailing from Bangladesh, China, Egypt, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, or Thailand
  3. Possession of a bachelor’s degree, along with dedication and passion for the chosen subject
  4. Fulfillment of the UK HEI’s English language requirement
  5. Establishment of a scholarly connection with the UK by aligning personal and academic goals
  6. Willingness to engage in a networking session with fellow GREAT scholars in the UK to exchange experiences and insights on studying there
  7. Commitment to maintaining communication with the British Council and the respective HEI, serving as a representative and ambassador for the GREAT Scholarships.
