President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officiated the swearing-in of eight new Permanent Secretaries, individuals who successfully navigated the Federal Civil Service’s selection process and were appointed last week.

The swearing-in ceremony took place prior to the commencement of the ongoing Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the Council Chambers in the State House, Abuja.

Among the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are Ndakayo-Aishetu Gogo, Adeoye Adeleye Ayodeji, Rimi Nura Abba, Bako Deborah Odoh, Omachi Raymond Omenka, Ahmed Dunoma Umar, Watti Tinuke, and Ella Nicholas Agbo.

President Tinubu is currently presiding over the week’s FEC meeting, with the presence of Vice President Kashim Shettima. Other attendees include Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Senator George Akume, Head of the Civil Service of the Federation Dr. (Mrs.) Folashade Yemi-Esan, and the Chief of Staff to the President, Hon Femi Gbajabiamila.
