President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has given the green light to a new board and management lineup for the National Hajj Commission (NAHCOM), pending Senate confirmation. The announcement was made in a statement on Wednesday by presidential spokesperson Ajuri Ngelale.
In the pursuit of a smooth and efficient 2024 Hajj operation, the President appointed key individuals to the NAHCOM Board. The appointees are tasked with enhancing the Commission’s operations, making them more efficient, transparent, and responsive to the needs of Nigerians. Notable appointments include Jalal Arabi as Chairman, Aliu Abdulrazaq (Commissioner, Policy, Personnel, and Finance), Prince Anofi Elegushi (Commissioner, Operations), and Professor Abubakar Yagawal (Commissioner, Planning and Research).
