Niger State Civil Service Commission Recruitment Guidelines and Requirements for 2024

The application portal is now open for the Niger State Civil Service Commission recruitment. To begin your application, please follow these steps:

Visit the official website: www.recruitment.nigerstate.gov.ng
Create an account using your last name, first name, email, and password. (Note: Passwords must contain at least one uppercase letter and one number, e.g., Niger1234).
An activation link will be sent to your email. Click on the link to activate your account.
Proceed to complete your registration, ensuring you have all the requirements listed below:

Personal Information:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Other name
  • Email
  • Phone Number
  • Date of Birth
  • State of Origin
  • Local Government Area (LGA)
  • Cadre you’re applying for
  • Senatorial zone
  • Ward
  • Permanent/Residential Address
  • Means of Identification (NIN, International Passport, Driver’s License, or Voter’s Card)

Next of Kin Information:

  • Full name of Next of Kin
  • Next of Kin Address
  • Next of Kin Phone Number
  • Relationship (Parent, spouse, sibling, other)

Educational Information:

  1. Primary school name
  2. Date certificate obtained (dd/mm/yyyy)
  3. Secondary school name
  4. Date certificate obtained (dd/mm/yyyy)
  5. Higher institution name
  6. Date certificate obtained (dd/mm/yyyy)
  7. Date of NYSC Certificate obtained
  8. Date of professional certificate obtained (as applicable to your discipline)

Work Experience: Indicate whether you are currently employed (‘Yes’ or ‘No’). If ‘Yes,’ provide details of your current job function and select the sector (Private, Federal Government, State Government, or Local Government). If ‘No,’ proceed to the next stage.

Referees: Provide details of three (3) referees:

  1. Name
  2. Occupation and Designation
  3. Phone Number

Documents to be Uploaded (in JPEG or PDF format):

  1. Clear passport photograph
  2. Means of Identification (NIN, International Passport, Driver’s License, or Voter’s Card)
  3. Primary school certificate
  4. Secondary school certificate (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB, etc.)
  5. Higher institution certificate (M.Ed, B.Ed, B.Sc (Ed), B.A (Ed), NCE, ND, etc.)
  6. NYSC certificate (Discharge or Exemption)
  7. Professional Certificate (as applicable to your discipline)

Note: Currently, there is an issue with selecting years below 2006. The years available for selection are from January 2006 to January 2024. We are working to resolve this. The age requirement for application is between 18 – 45 years.
