On Monday, organized Labour initiated mobilization efforts for a nationwide protest scheduled for February 27 and 28, addressing the country’s cost of living crisis. According to sources within the Nigeria Labour Congress leadership, the National Executive Council convened via Zoom on Friday, February 16, to assess resolutions made by the National Action Council of the NLC and the Trade Union Congress concerning agreements with the Federal Government.
Following this pivotal meeting, labor unions unanimously decided to demand immediate implementation of the agreements with the Federal Government.
