Fire Consumes Well-Known Shopping Center in Abuja

A fire ravaged the renowned IC World Emporia shopping mall in the Gwarinpa area of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, early on Wednesday. The incident, captured by an online user known as Mister_Mash, unfolded with a trending video depicting flames engulfing the building’s roof.

Mister_Mash posted at 4:13 am, “Currently happening right now in Gwarimpa, IC World Emporia on fire.” Subsequently, additional videos showcased the Federal Fire Service at the scene, working to contain the situation.

Amiola Adebayo, the Head of Operations at the FCT Fire Service, confirmed the fire in a phone conversation with our correspondent.
