Enugu Senator Denies Receiving Constituents’ Palliatives

Senator Okechukwu Ezea (LP-Enugu) Confirms Non-Reception of Government-Allocated Rice for Constituents

Enugu North’s representative at the National Assembly, Senator Ezea, stated in Abuja on Monday that he has not yet received any government-provided palliatives, be it funds or food items, for his constituents. He affirmed his commitment to transparently distributing any received palliatives in accordance with principles of fairness and equity.

“Considering the immense challenges my constituents are enduring, I took it upon myself to distribute bags of rice throughout the 102 wards in my district at my personal expense in the new year. The distribution has been completed at the local government level, and we are currently in the process of distributing the items to the beneficiaries across the wards.”
