Bandits launched an attack in Pambara, Bwari Area Council of Abuja early Thursday morning, snatching Aondo Ver, a director at the Federal Housing Authority, from his residence located just 200 meters from a nearby military base. The assailants, firing shots indiscriminately, caused widespread panic in the vicinity before vanishing into the wilderness with their captive.
Residents, recounting the harrowing incident, disclosed that the military compound, colloquially referred to as ‘camp’, stands in close proximity to the abduction site. Among those targeted by the bandits were both current and retired military personnel, along with civilians residing in the area.
