The Osolo of Isolo in Lagos State, Oba Kabiru Agbabiaka, has passed away. The monarch’s demise occurred shortly after he participated in the Eid prayers on Wednesday, marking a somber conclusion to the festive occasion.
Confirmation of Oba Agbabiaka’s passing was provided by Olasoju Adebayo, the Chairman of Isolo Local Council Development Area, through an official statement. According to Adebayo, the late monarch, aged 64, is set to be laid to rest by 4pm on the same day, adhering to Islamic funeral customs.
The announcement, made on behalf of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, signifies the loss of a significant figure in Isolo Kingdom. While the cause of Oba Agbabiaka’s demise remains undisclosed, the community mourns the departure of a respected leader, invoking prayers for his eternal peace.
