The internationally acclaimed Afrobeats artist, David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, has taken to social media to celebrate the success of shutting down his Timeless concert in Abuja.

On December 14th, 2023, Davido, the artist behind the hit song “Unavailable,” expressed concern about the low turnout for his Abuja concert.

Using his official X (formerly Twitter) page, Davido wrote, “Abuja be like ur pple no wan do show…”.

He also added; “Is this a prank ???”

Subsequently, Davido’s proactive social media engagement proved effective, as it led to a substantial increase in attendance by Abuja residents, defying the notion that “a closed mouth is a closed destiny.”

Taking to his X page again, Davido wrote; “ABUJA CHOKE !!! 😀.”

“Now u gotta delete ur tweet 😂…”

“Abuja go too sweet ….”

“Major flogging tonight !!!”
