Yemi-Esan: 116 Bungalows Set for Distribution to Workers in June

The federal government has reaffirmed its dedication to offering affordable housing to civil servants through the Federal Integrated Staff Housing (FISH) program under the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF).

Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HoSF), revealed during a site inspection that 116 two-bedroom semi-detached bungalows are under construction in Gwagwalada Area Council of the FCT. These homes, slated for completion in June, will be allocated to civil servants, aligning with Pillar 6 of the Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan 2021-2025 (FCCSIP-25).

Dr. Yemi-Esan urged contractors involved in the project to expedite the provision of essential amenities such as electricity, water, and internal road networks within the estate. The initiative, fully funded by the Federal Government Staff Housing Loans Board (FGSHLB) in collaboration with real estate developers, aims to address the housing needs of civil servants.
