Tinubu: Threats to Nigeria’s Sovereignty Will Face Heavy Consequences

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu emphasized the severe consequences awaiting those who threaten Nigeria’s sovereignty during his meeting with leaders of Afenifere, the Yoruba Socio-Cultural Organization, at the State House in Abuja on Wednesday. Tinubu reiterated his unwavering commitment to Nigeria’s unity and constitutional democracy, asserting that his administration is resolutely tackling security challenges, particularly terrorism, with notable success.

Speaking through his spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu underscored his administration’s dedication to achieving comprehensive economic security for Nigeria. He highlighted ongoing efforts to address foundational issues and create an equitable system for all Nigerians, aiming to boost citizens’ purchasing power and spread prosperity across the nation.

During the meeting, His Royal Majesty, Oba Olu Falae, praised President Tinubu for his decisive actions and the rehabilitation of critical infrastructure like the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos. Oba Falae urged the president to persist in promoting fairness and equity while advocating for constitutional amendments to decentralize power to the states. The delegation, led by Pa Reuben Fasoranti, included other prominent figures from Afenifere.
