SP Bako Angbashim met his tragic end on September 8, 2023, while leading a raid on criminal hideouts in Ahoada East Local Government Area. He was engaged in a gunfight with cultists, who were led by the notorious cult kingpin known as 2-Baba (Gift David Okpara Okpolowu).
