Billionaire heiress Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, professionally known as DJ Cuppy, recently explained in a video why she hasn’t released a new song in nearly four years. The artist, famous for “Jollof on the jet,” shared this information on Instagram.

DJ Cuppy, who last released a song on August 24th, 2020, as part of her debut album, Original Copy, clarified the reason behind her musical hiatus. Despite previously assuring her fans of a new song in the current year, she emphasized that she believes in God’s timing.

Elaborating further, the 31-year-old emphasized the importance of trusting in divine timing, even if it doesn’t align with personal expectations. She noted her growth into her thirties, highlighting changes in her perspective, with a shift towards more thoughtful choices and reduced youthful energy compared to earlier years.

Telling her fans to be patient with her, DJ Cuppy wrote; “God’s timing is the best EVEN if it does NOT align with your ego 🧡🕊️ #CuppyDat.”
