Yuletide: Osun CP orders increased security
Osun Police Commissioner, Isyaku Mohammed, has affirmed the implementation of robust security measures for the upcoming Yuletide season.
He has instructed Area Commanders, Tactical Commanders, and Divisional Police Officers to deploy personnel to key public areas, emphasizing places of worship, recreational spots, amusement parks, and social gathering venues.
This directive follows the recent prohibition of fireworks and street carnivals across the state during the festive period.
CP Mohammed urged officers to strictly enforce the operation order, ensuring intelligence-led and highly visible policing on highways and throughout the state.
The statement, released by the Command’s spokesperson, Yemisi Opalola, assures the public of a secure environment, urging cooperation with deployed security personnel.
