A fire incident occurred on Friday night along Complex Road near the Ekpan Roundabout in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, resulting in the destruction of several shops.
Despite the efforts of shop owners to salvage their goods, the fire rapidly spread from one shop to another.
The cause of the fire remains unknown at the time of this report, and emergency responders were still actively working to contain the blaze.
