Sanwo-Olu Urges Eagles to Bring AFCON Cup Home
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu hosted the Super Eagles in Lagos State on Tuesday in anticipation of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Expressing his gratitude, the governor shared on X (Twitter), “It was a privilege to have the Super Eagles with us this evening at the Lagos State/NFF Send Forth event as they prepare for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.”
He continued, “My thoughts and wishes go out to our team for strength, resilience, and unity throughout this journey. To the Super Eagles: You bear the aspirations of an entire nation.
As you represent us at #AFCON2023, may your play be fueled by passion, unity, and determination. Make Nigeria proud and secure the cup. Soar high, Super Eagles!”
