PDP Concedes Challenge in Unseating APC in 2027

The Peoples Democratic Party has acknowledged the formidable challenge of unseating the All Progressives Congress in the upcoming 2027 presidential election, emphasizing the necessity of a genuine coalition.

Former Vice President and PDP’s 2023 presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, proposed a merger during a meeting with the National Executive Committee of the Inter-Party Advisory Council of Nigeria. He also cautioned against the potential risk of Nigeria evolving into a one-party state.
