Kenyan detectives have apprehended two Nigerians, William Opia and Johnbull Asbor, in connection with the alleged murder and dismemberment of 20-year-old Jomo Kenyatta University student Rita Waeni. The shocking discovery of Waeni’s head, wrapped in a purple blouse and concealed in a sack, has sent shockwaves through the community, prompting an intensified search for the perpetrators.
As revealed by Kenya’s The Nation Media Group on Monday, the suspects, Opia and Asbor, were found to be residing illegally in Kenya. Opia’s expired passport and Asbor’s claim of losing his travel documents two years ago add a layer of intrigue to the investigation, raising questions about their presence in the country.
