The official announcement of the JAMB Cut-off Mark for the 2024/2025 academic session took place during the 2024 Policy Meeting of Tertiary Institutions in Abuja last Saturday. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has set the cut-off mark for admission into universities at 140, while for polytechnics and colleges of education, it stands at a minimum of 100.
During the meeting, JAMB Registrar Prof. Ishaq Oloyede emphasized the importance of adherence to these cut-off marks by all institutions across the country. He cautioned against going below the approved points and urged every tertiary institution to uphold its minimum standards, especially concerning institutional screening and grading in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE), which must not fall below 50 marks.
