Federal University Birnin Kebbi, located in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State, Nigeria, was established on February 18, 2013, alongside universities in Gusau and Gashua. The creation of Federal University Birnin-Kebbi (FUBK) was part of the Federal Republic of Nigeria’s initiative, led by Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR, to establish federal universities in states lacking one. Presently, FUBK houses three faculties and a College of Health Sciences, offering a comprehensive array of twenty-four (24) degree programs.
For admission to FUBK Candidates must meet specific requirements:
- Possess a minimum of 5 credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained at GCE O’Level, WASCE, SSCE, NECO, or approved equivalents, with not more than 2 sittings.
- Attain a minimum of 160 pass marks in the JAMB (Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board) examination to qualify for internal screening by Federal University Birnin-Kebbi.
A Cut Off Marks
This serves as the benchmark that students must achieve in their JAMB UTME Examination to be considered for Post UTME Examination or direct admission by the institution’s management.
