Reports indicate that individuals believed to be affiliated with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission conducted a surprise operation at the Federal University of Technology, Akure, in Ondo State during the late hours.
According to eyewitnesses, the operation targeted student accommodations around 2 a.m., with claims emerging on social media that the individuals forcibly entered rooms and apprehended several students.
Video footage circulating online purportedly depicts damaged window frames, suggesting attempts at unauthorized entry.
