The president of NUGA, Ogbu, has passed away
The demise of Mr. Emeka Ogbu, the President of the Nigerian Universities Games Association (NUGA), has been confirmed.
The announcement was made by Prof. Mohammed Bawa, who is currently serving as the acting president of the association. This revelation was shared with the press in Jos on Wednesday.
Bawa mentioned that Ogbu passed away on Monday following a short illness. Ogbu, previously serving as the Director of Sports at the Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT), assumed the role of NUGA president after being elected in March 2022.
