Musician Davido rallies behind Wizkid as he prepares to release a new song this Friday.
Afrobeats sensation David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, recently expressed his support for fellow artist Wizkid on social media, as Wizkid prepares to release a new song.
Wizkid made the announcement on his verified Instagram page on December 19, 2023, revealing that his upcoming project, “Soundman Vol.2,” is scheduled for release on Friday, December 22, 2023.
Amidst online reports of Wizkid’s hospitalization, with conflicting claims about his health status—some asserting he is unwell, while others contend that he is undergoing a detoxification process—Davido extends his encouragement to Wizkid.

In response to this development, Davido, who recently met up with Wizkid at a Lagos party, expressed his support for Wizkid by promoting the singer’s upcoming project on both X (formerly known as Twitter) and Instagram.
Committing to dedicating his weekend to listening to Wizkid’s new project, Davido posted, “New Wiz Friday! Wtf!!! Replay ALL WEEKEND!!”
