In a tragic turn of events at the Celestial Church of Christ, Grace of Comfort Parish, Omitoto, in Osun State, the pastor, Moris Fadehan, fell victim to a shocking crime committed within the walls of his church. Reports indicate that the perpetrator behind this heinous act was none other than one of his assistants, Lekan Ogundipe.
The horrifying discovery was made when Ogundipe alerted bystanders to the presence of the pastor’s partially burnt remains within the church premises on Monday. Stricken by the sight, those present were left grappling with the disturbing reality of the pastor’s untimely demise.
Following the dreadful deed, Ogundipe sought refuge at the home of the church’s founder, whose identity remains undisclosed. Claiming that a fire had engulfed the pastor, Ogundipe’s attempts to conceal his culpability began to unravel as observant locals noticed traces of blood on his attire. Swift action was taken as law enforcement was notified, leading to the prompt arrest of the suspect. Amidst the unfolding tragedy, questions loom regarding the motive behind such a heinous act, with no immediate clarity on the underlying tensions between Ogundipe and Fadehan. However, whispers of past altercations, including an incident where Fadehan revoked church access from Ogundipe following an assault on a prophetess, hint at a complex web of unresolved grievances.
