Founder, Madonna University, Rev. Father Emmanuel Ede

Reverend Father Emmanuel Edeh, the founder of Madonna University in Nigeria, proudly claims that female students who enter the university as virgins invariably graduate as virgins, attributing this outcome to the institution’s emphasis on high morals and discipline. Edeh made these assertions in a video released by Channels Television, underscoring the university’s commitment to instilling moral values.

He boasted that Madonna University stands out for its strict adherence to principles, citing its aversion to secret cultism, examination malpractice, bullying, and substance abuse. According to Edeh, the university maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards sexual immorality, ensuring that female students preserve their virginity throughout their academic journey.

Edeh emphasized the global recognition of Madonna University’s moral standards, noting that individuals from various countries seek out Madonna graduates as potential spouses due to their commitment to virtue. He highlighted the university’s unique features, including mandatory on-campus housing for students and stringent attendance requirements for both students and lecturers.

Established in 1999, Madonna University holds the distinction of being Nigeria’s first private Catholic university, with campuses located in Elele, Rivers State; Okija, Anambra State; and Akpugo, Enugu State. The institution prides itself on its mission to foster decency in academics and morals, shaping students to become responsible individuals grounded in ethical values.
