The Police Recruitment Board, established by the Police Service Commission (PSC), has unveiled a roster of 20 centers designated for the medical screening phase of successful and shortlisted applicants. This initiative forms part of the ongoing recruitment drive aimed at filling vacancies within the Constable cadre of the Nigeria Police Force. The announcement follows the recently concluded computer-based tests conducted by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
As outlined in a statement by the Head of Press and Public Relations, Ikechukwu Ani, the medical screen to span two weeks. Candidates underwent initial phases of physical and credentials screening, culminating in the computer-based test phase. The final segment of the screening process, involving medical examinations, is slated to commence on April 16th, 2024.
The medical screening represents a pivotal component among various evaluation measures implemented by the Board to assess applicants’ suitability for the role. The selected centers nationwide will serve as venues for this crucial phase of the recruitment exercise, ensuring thorough vetting of candidates before their deployment into the Nigeria Police Force.
