Kebbi State Commissioner for Higher Education, Isah Abdullahi-Tunga, praised Governor Nasir Idris for allocating over N967 million to cover the registration fees of indigenous students studying across Nigeria. Speaking at a press conference in Birnin Kebbi, the commissioner disclosed that the governor’s approval would support 20,908 Kebbi State students enrolled in 36 tertiary institutions nationwide.
Abdullahi-Tunga hailed Governor Idris’s generosity as a reflection of his commitment to nurturing youth leadership and excellence. The substantial allocation underscores the governor’s dedication to transforming higher education in Kebbi State and ensuring the educational advancement of its youth population.
