Unknown assailants reportedly raided Gidan Busa in Doka ward of Kachia Local Government Area, Kaduna State, on Friday night, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and the abduction of 16 others. According to a confidential source, five individuals sustained gunshot wounds and are currently undergoing treatment at an undisclosed medical facility in the vicinity.
This incident follows closely after the demise of Isyaku Boderia, a notorious bandit believed to be responsible for numerous high-profile attacks, including the abduction of Yauri school girls, Greenfield University, and the breach of the Nigerian Defence Academy. Boderi was reportedly neutralized by troops of 1 Division, Nigerian Army, in the Bada/Riyawa general area of Chikun and Igabi Local Government Areas of Kaduna State on Wednesday.
