Tinubu pledges to bring infrastructural and economic transformation to the Niger Delta

President Bola Tinubu reaffirms Nigeria’s commitment to hosting the African Central Bank in line with the Abuja Treaty vision. In a statement released by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu pledges to collaborate with the African Union Commission and member states to ensure the bank’s establishment by 2028.

The statement, titled ‘President Tinubu to AU leaders: Nigeria ready to host African Central Bank; prepare the youth for the 21st-century economy,’ highlights Tinubu’s remarks during the 37th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
