The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), in collaboration with Expertise France, a foreign firm, has joined forces with the Ondo State Government to tackle human trafficking in Nigeria.
In a recent development, the state government generously provided office space for NAPTIP’s state command in Akure, the capital city.
Addressing the partnership on Monday, Mr. Benjamin Eneanya, Country Project Manager of Expertise France, highlighted its significance in bolstering NAPTIP’s capabilities to combat human trafficking effectively in the state. He emphasized that the newly equipped state command office, furnished with modern facilities for investigation, prosecution, and victims’ rehabilitation, will greatly enhance NAPTIP’s efforts in the fight against human trafficking.
