Nick Imudia, the former Chief Executive Officer of Konga, one of Nigeria’s e-commerce giants, has reportedly died by suicide. The tragic incident occurred on the evening of Tuesday, June 25, 2024, when Imudia allegedly jumped from the balcony of his apartment in the Lekki area of Lagos State.
Before his death, Imudia reportedly made a call to his brother in the United States, providing instructions on how to distribute his wealth. He also spoke to his young daughter, reassuring her that he would always be there for her. This revelation has left friends, family, and associates in shock, struggling to understand why Imudia took his own life.
Imudia, an indigene of Ika South Local Government Area in Delta State, was previously married to the mother of his young daughter, with the marriage ending due to irreconcilable differences. The state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the case to reporters on Thursday.
